Check out the beautiful baby Fiona! Mom and Dad preferred a more formal, studio type feel, so out came the lights and backdrops. Miss Fiona, though none too excited for her first formal photo shoot, was an absolute trooper and we did get some gems. I can't wait to see how she grows up!

... And we just had to incoporate her proud, big sister Aurora ... ... I just had to capture this moment...cold, sleepy, and obviously done with the photo shoot...but wait... ... In mommy's arms, she was content again...and I just had to end it on this note!
It's easy to get stuck in a rut, and the same goes for photography. I don't mean with style or creativity (though I'm sure that happens and luckily I haven't really expereinced that)...but with tunnel vision of expecting the same old print styles/sizes. I was so excited when Ashley was ready to break out of the box!! Check out her 20x20 9 photo collage of her daughter Fiona's newborn portraits. A few week's ago, I had the pleasure of capturing some photos for Carl. The main mission, a great headshot for his Chick Fila marketing materials, but we extended it to get in some more portraits.
Alot have guys have to be roped into a photo session, but I just love photographing guys who actually enjoy the experience!! Don't you just love how Carl works the camera with his executive persona...not to mention that smile? Enjoy!!
My beloved Grand M ended her 94 year party with us earlier this week. Though she will be missed, she will never be forgotten!
Grand M, who was far too grand to simply be referred to as "grandma", "granny", or "nanna", was an amazing woman who accomplished so much...accepted to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, modeling for the great House of Worth, serving our great country as a Captain in the Women's Army Corp, working for the Pentagon, acting in community theatres, movies, and television, owning and running the Tailored Tot on 5th Ave in NYC as well as Ross Mode's, a high end women's dress boutique in San Francisco...all on top of a wife and mother.
Well, that was all before I came along. I will always remember my Grand M as a feisty red head that my sister and I so enjoyed to "terrorize" and banter with. I will always value her appreciation of the fabulousness of life, and I will miss her headstrong, larger than life personality, which I so grew to admire.
Grand M, you've taught me taught me so much and I can't wait to see you at the next big party! Cheers!
Nikki took a bit of time to warm up to the camera, but once she did, she totally rocked it! Just in going through the preliminary editing, I'm stoked to share them all...the only difficult part will be choosing my favorites...hmmm...
I finally had the honor of presenting THE ALBUM to newlyweds Chris and Kelly! Though a bit delayed due to a series of printing issues, Miller's finally came to the rescue and round 3 was well worth the wait!

Friends for years, Monica and Todd finally exchanged their vows at this adorable, quaint little cottage, The Bird's Nest (Simply perfect for an intimate get together). I always love wedding photography, but this was an absolute blast capturing all of the funny moments shared with their friends and family... ...Check out those smiles...can't you just feel the love between these two?!... ...Such a beautiful new family (tongue and all)... ...Congrats you two!!
