Yesterday must have been one of the most beautiful days we've had so far this year and to make it even better, Monica and Todd were married!! They exchanged their vows at under a beautiful blue sky...and I just couldn't wait to share this little sneak peek!

Through the lens...the Guitar Project!! {DFW Photographer}

Surprisingly, my boyfriend is pretty musically inclined, though he NEVER plays! So...the guitar has become more of a form of decoration, propped up against the bed, than a creative outlet. Utilized or not, it's a part of the family, so what better subject for a series project.

Playing with the depth of field, I worked to create a natural zoom, focusing on some of my favorite parts...the pick and all! Simple and pure...what kind of story are you creating in your head??

B&W Fun with Kim & Russ {Carrollton Engagement Photographer}

Have you ever noticed how much drama black & white photography adds to a photograph? No colors to distract...allowing the eye to focus simply on the subject at hand, in the midst of light and shadows. I just love it!!

So, I just had to share some of Kim & Russ's Engagements (round 2)...in all of it's black and white dramatic goodness!

Spring is here and the wildflowers are in bloom! Just the sight of them makes me smile. The colors, shapes, sizes, smells...they are absolutely beautiful! This is what Spring in Texas should always be!

Micah's Sneak Peek {Plano Children Photographer}

Just last weekend, I had a blast with Matthew, Alison, and their adorable baby boy Micah. As I was going through the edits, I couldn't help but smile at this adorable face! Mr. Micah is the perfect example of why I love working with children...you really never know what you're going to get...or even when you're going to get it!! One moment he gives me a giant smile...and the next, he is not a happy camper. I love this adorable contradiction, so I just had to share this sneak peek.

Ashley is expecting! {McKinney Maternity Photography}

Jason has come a long way since high school and has built an absolutely wonderful family!! Now, he and Ashley have welcomed their second baby girl...but we'll get to that in due time.

As Ashley and Jason prepare for the family of 4, I had the honor to capture some of their Maternity memories. They decided to go with a studio feel for their photo session, and it was a blast capturing their family interactions. This truly is a perfect example of a loving and happy family...Congratulations you guys!!!
